School Partnerships
The School Connectivity Programs implemented by Project Harmony in the Caucasus have established Internet Connectivity Centers (ICC) in over 300 schools in Armenia and 70 schools in Azerbaijan. Project Harmony endeavors to harness the potential of these ICCs to establish long-term one-on-one school partnerships between schools in the U.S. and the Caucasus. Having been provided with technical support, training, and opportunities to participate in reciprocal exchanges, selected educators work collaboratively to create online projects and events designed to engage their students in cross-cultural dialogue. The goal of these partnerships is to promote mutual understanding, and appreciation and respect for the variety of perspectives that exist in our increasingly interdependent world.
