Each student will choose a scientist from the other country to research and develop a presentation about. The Pecos students will compile all completed presentations into a hard bound book, while the Gavar #3 students will learn to create a website to display the completed presentations.

Students will develop multicultural friendships through online exchanges. Students will conduct research using the internet and other resources to familiarize them with contributions which Armenian and American scientists have made to the world of science. Students will read a variety of scientific materials and analyze each for appropriateness. Students will practice individual computer skills during online discussions and when working on posters. Students will develop their written language skills by participating in discussion folders and in writing for posters. Students will read a variety of scientific materials in order to become acquainted with the best examples of technical language.
