Location: Solano, New Mexico
Armenian School: Khndzoresk Secondary School
Location: Syunik region, Khndzoresk village
Five Armenian students and ten American students will study the lyrics and historical context of at least one popular
Armenian song and one popular American song during a three- month period. 15 participants will develop skills in analyzing lyrics for content and universality. 15 participants will have opportunities to practice their communication skills of reading comprehension, oral discussion, collaboration, writing, and editing. 15 participants will practice their computer skills during online discussions, chat and postings to gallery folders. 15 participants will post poetry to a Poetry Gallery within the Project Forum. Project participants will become familiar with the lives, responsibilities, culture, geography, and history of others.
