Teacher Projects:
 Patrick Fleming & Hasmik Harutyunyan

U.S. School: Central Florida Community College Career Academy Ocala, FL

Armenian School: Aghavnadzor Secondary School Vayots Dzor Region, Aghavnadzor

The activities for Project Harmony's U.S.-Armenia Teacher Exchange found a new semester of students in the Central Florida Community College Career Academy participating in the project. Both groups are identifying community groups for the purpose of conducting service learning activities. One activity occurs on February 26 when the academy students participate in United Way's Day of Caring. They will be reflecting on their experiences on the WebEx website.

Students continue to update their profiles and PowerPoint activities from the second module. Each classroom continues to learn a little more about each other's cultures. In addition to participating in the community service activities, the Academy students are designing student forums for Hasmik's visit to the college in April. This activity fosters the objectives of leadership development which is a part of the Career Academy program.
