The collaborative project between Canajoharie High School and Vanadzor School #1
is designed to enrich the art and English curricula by presenting students with
an international integrated perspective. Canajoharie students are learning
about Paradjanov through self discovery and through research done by the
students in Vanadzor. As the Paradjanov project is completed, the results will
be posted on the Canajoharie High School Web Gallery; the students will then
have the opportunity to discuss their work. Also, the students are learning of
similarities and differences through a Christmas card exchange and through a
dialogue on WebX designed to compare the customs of the two countries. In the
spring, the students will set up an art show to exhibit their paintings and
will post pictures of the show on the Web Gallery.
