Christopher Marquardt works directly with 150 Navajo middle school students teaching social studies. Aytekin Aliyeva is one of the most successful teachers in the ACE program, integrating IEARN modules in her English classes. She notes that the online study of other cultures and opinions is an essential part of her teaching.

Christopher and Aytekin have developed two projects. The first examines national heritage issues. The second will address the irrespective school environments. After comparing and contrasting local environmental issues, they will sponsor a school clean up day. They will work with challenged and talented students in this project.
