In March and April 2002 as a part of the third phase of the program seminars took place in Veliky Novgorod, Volgograd and Irkutsk. The goal of this phase was further spread of the work experience in juvenile drug prevention in these regions, support of the local initiatives in DOM (Children. Education. Militia.) Curriculum implementation and in strengthening of collaboration between employees of different institutions dealing with this serious problem.

The leading DOM program trainers - the author of the teaching manual "Choose life" S.V. Goranskaya, a teacher in Karelian Pedagogical University L.Y. Ivanova, police officers of the police department unit for prevention of crimes connected with illegal drug circulation, Ministry for public security, Petrozavodsk UVD, L.V. Goncharova and N.L. Obermeits - conducted training seminars in these cities, delivered lectures on prevention of juvenile negative behavior, shared their hands-on work experience.

Local specialists, having been taught in Petrozavodsk and who are actively applying their knowledge and skills in their work, helped a lot in organizing the seminars and also acted as trainers.

The participants of the seminars were police officers, teachers, social workers, psychologists, administrative workers, and representatives of social organizations. All the participants received a pack of informative and methodological materials, including the manual "Choose life". The participants, having successfully got through the training, received certificates, allowing them to conduct DOM lessons.
