This summer Project Harmony staff in Samara are collaborating with local professionals to publish and distribute thematic teaching materials for educators. All of the books focus on the practical application of the Internet within a specific discipline.

Three thematic booklets, "Internet for Legal Professionals", "Internet for Historical Research" and "Internet and Environmental Protection Law in Russia" will be published in September of 2000 and will be distributed to partner organizations in the coming months.

In August of 2000, two thematic textbooks will be sent to press and widely distributed by the Samara and IATP programs. These books concentrate on practical lessons in using Internet-based resources to teach law and small business administration, two of the three main areas of concentration of the Samara Regional Initiative Internet Program. A book based on SRIIP's third area of concentration, public administration, will be completed in the fall of 2000.
