The balalaika orchestra at the Pskov Pedagogical Complex. The conductor showed us various types and sizes of balalaika – round and triangular, violin-sized to guitar-sized (and he said that there exist ones that you play standing up!) Many schools offer students the opportunity to learn traditional Russian music, dance, and folk art.
