  DV Resource Centers

After two phases of training have been completed, Project Harmony assists coalition partners in each program city to establish a Domestic Violence Resource Center. The Center acts a reference and referral service for victims who wish to identify services they can go to for help. The Centers serve as professional libraries for information on the domestic violence and are equipped with computers, telephones, copy machines, Internet access and a library of books and journals.The Centers also serve as a meeting place for the coalition and central clearinghouse for disseminating information and publications on domestic violence.

The first Project Harmony Domestic Violence Resource Center was opened in 1999 in the Perevalka region of Petrozavodsk, Russia. The next Project Harmony Domestic Violence Resource Center will be opening in Volgograd, Russia.
