Last fall, Project Harmony announced the opening of a new office in Tbilisi, Georgia to manage the Community Connections Recruiting Program in that country. In our winter 2000 newsletter, we introduced you to two additional programs to take place in the Caucasus: The Armenia Connectivity 2000 Program and the Internet Community Development Program, which spans the three countries of the Caucasus; Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Project Harmony now has offices in the capital cities of Tbilisi, Yerevan and Baku and, in addition to the above programs, the past year has seen the implementation of the Domestic Violence Community Partnership Program in Tbilisi. In upcoming 2001 - 2002, we will begin the Azerbaijan School Connectivity Program, renew our efforts for Community Connections Recruiting in Georgia and expand the Armenia Connectivity Program. We will also implement the Georgian Women's Leadership Program.
We look forward to Project Harmony's continued growth in the Caucasus, which allows us to practice our policy of working with the diverse constituencies of our partner communities. This issue of the Project Harmony newsletter will focus on our current programs in the Caucasus and will provide you with more insight as to what these programs are all about.
