Vermont Teens Travel to Jordan to Explore Media and Culture

On Sunday, April 9, 2006, ten Vermont high school students, together with two chaperones and a PH staff member, will embark on the first Project Harmony exchange program to the Middle East. The delegation will travel to Jordan for a three-week exchange program focused on media education and cultural understanding.

Project Harmony and United Palestinian Appeal Seeking High School Students for MEDIA Program

Project Harmony is actively recruiting ten Vermont sophomore or junior high school students to participate in the Media Education & Democracy in Action Program that began in September 2005 and will continue through August 2006. The 10 students selected will travel to Jordan from February 16 - March 8, 2006 and participate in portions of the exchange component that will bring ten Jordanian/Palestinian refugee students to Vermont from July 7-28, 2006.
