TakingITGlobal and TAP Students Connect Online

Members of the 2005 Technology Ambassadors Program participated in an online event with representatives of Taking ITGlobal on Saturday, May 7th. Taking ITGlobal is an international organization led by youth and enabled by technology. Headquarted in Toronto, Canada, with a growing worldwide presence, TIG works with global partners to build the capacity of youth for development, support youth artistic and media expression, and involve young people in global decision-making.
Project Harmony Concludes Another Successful Technology Ambassadors Program Workshop

Thirty One Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) students representing 12 countries of the former Soviet Union recently completed a 10-day workshop held at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. This workshop is a component of Project Harmony?s Technology Ambassadors Program, which provides technology and leadership skills to international high school students selected for the yearlong program.
Thirty Two International High School Students Selected To Become Technology Ambassadors

Thirty Two high school students from 12 Eurasian countries have been selected to participate in Project Harmony’s Technology Ambassadors Program (TAP). These students are in the United States for one year under the sponsorship of the US Department of State’s Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program. Program participants are currently studying in communities across the country ranging from Kamuela, Hawaii to San Antonio, Texas to Byron Georgia.
Project Harmony Seeking Host Families in Middlebury Area

Project Harmony is once again looking for families in the Middlebury area to host students during the FLEX Technology Ambassadors Program (FLEX TAP). Thirty two English speaking exchange students from the Former Soviet Union will come to Vermont from March 18-25, 2005 to attend a 10-day technology and leadership workshop at Middlebury College.
Project Harmony Gears Up for Start of TAP 2005

With a new technology trainer and space secured at Middlebury College, staff members at Project Harmony are excited to be gearing up for a third year of the Technology Ambassadors Program (TAP). Currently there are 1200 Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) students studying in the United States for an academic year, sponsored by the US Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
FLEX-TAP Alumnus Brings New Skills to Georgia

Giorgi Dvali, a 2004 alumnus of Project Harmony’s Technology Ambassadors Program has returned to Tbilisi, Georgia and quickly put his new knowledge and skills to work to benefit members of his community. Giorgi has been working closely with IATP staff in Georgia and recently taught some classes in basic computer skills and the use of computer technology in society.
