TAP 2005 Online Event

Members of the 2005 Technology Ambassadors Program participated in an online event with representatives of Taking ITGlobal on Saturday, May 7th. Taking ITGlobal is an international organization led by youth and enabled by technology. Headquarted in Toronto, Canada, with a growing worldwide presence, TIG works with global partners to build the capacity of youth for development, support youth artistic and media expression, and involve young people in global decision-making.

The event took place Saturday May 7, 2005 from 12:00 to 13:00pm.

TAP 2004 Online Event

Paul Smith Being Ambassadors of Change

The online event featured Mr. Paul Smith, former Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Moscow. Mr. Smith has worked extensively on cultural and academic exchanges, and is actively involved in Eurasia, working with both government and non-governmental organizations. During the event students had the opportunity to engage in dialogue with Mr. Smith on topics related to their work in the Technology Ambassadors Program, including networking and resources in Eurasia, moving from idea to action, project specific questions, volunteer service and the experience of being an exchange student.

The event took place Monday May 10, 2004 from 6:00 to 7:30pm.
