Orientation for Armenian Participants

USA 101 PowerPoint
This PowerPoint, based on the CIA World FactBook, provides basic information and illustrations about the USA.

US Education System
The document is based on questionnaires given to educators in different regions throughout the U.S., personal experiences of the author, materials provided by the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Center for Education Statistics, U.S. Census Bureau, the National Education Association, and the U.S. Center for Education Reform.

CultureGram
CultureGrams are written by degree-holding professionals whose experience or background allows them to understand different perspectives, regions, and languages of the nation. CultureGrams are written at a high school level. CultureGrams provide readers with timely insight and accurate data in a concise, easy-to-read format. The CultureGram is in a PDF Adobe Acrobat format, but can also be printed out to pass out to your class. The CultureGram should give educators and students a high-quality overall summary of the USA.
