Project Harmony and Connected Minds present the 2002-2003 School Connectivity Programs Online Collaborative Projects. Project Harmony's two connectivity programs: Armenia Connectivity 2000 and Azerbaijan School Connectivity Program together have more than one hundred schools participating in activities with hundreds of schools in the United States. Connected Minds has developed four different projects for these schools to choose from which promote multi-cultural awareness, knowledge and perspective.

AC2K

The Armenia Connectivity 2000 Program (AC2K) is dedicated to promoting the educational use of the Internet in a manner that will strengthen democracy, support civil society and promote cultural understanding throughout Armenia. AC2K is a program of the United States Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and administered by Project Harmony. The AC2K program has already connected over 80 schools and will have over 100 schools connected by the end of 2002.

ASCP


The Azerbaijan School Connectivity Program (ASCP) enriches the educational experience of Azerbaijani students and educators by promoting civic education and cross-cultural understanding through the use of Internet technologies. By providing computer equipment, creating online partnerships between schools, and providing intensive technical and educational training, ASCP facilitates the open exchange of ideas and the integration of Internet resources into Azerbaijani classrooms. ASCP is a program of the United States Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and administered by Project Harmony. ASCP has a total of 10 connected schools in the cities of Baku, Ganje and Mingechevir.
